To strengthen our planning team, we are looking for an experienced (Trailer) Transport Planner who can maintain an overview, act quickly, and contribute ideas for improvements.

What will you do?

As a Transport Planner, you ensure that our trailers are in the right place at the right time. You seamlessly coordinate between a client in Hamburg, a shipping company in Rotterdam, and a driver en route to Cologne—while keeping track of three trailers and ten deadlines. Specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring incoming and outgoing (trailer) transports.

• Maintaining contact with shipping lines, freight forwarders, carriers, and terminals.

• Ensuring accurate documentation, such as customs papers, CMRs, and bookings.

• Identifying bottlenecks and contributing ideas for process improvements.

• Collaborating closely with colleagues in transport, planning, and customer service.

• Reporting on KPIs and transport performance.

Who are you?

• You have at least two years of experience in a (trailer) transport planning role and possess an MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking.

• You are precise, proactive, and able to switch smoothly between different tasks.

• You are communicatively strong in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is a plus.

• You take initiative, accept responsibility, and actively seek solutions.
