To strengthen our planning team, we are looking for an experienced Container Transport Planner who can maintain an overview, act quickly, and actively contribute ideas for improvements.

What will you do?

As a Container Transport Planner, you ensure that our trailers are in the right place at the right time. You effortlessly coordinate between a client in Hamburg, a shipping company in Rotterdam, and a driver en route to Cologne—while keeping track of three trucks and ten deadlines. Concretely, your tasks include:

• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring incoming and outgoing (container) transports.

• Maintaining contact with shipping lines, freight forwarders, carriers, and terminals.

• Ensuring accurate documentation, such as customs papers, CMRs, and bookings.

• Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to process improvements.

• Collaborating closely with colleagues in transport, planning, and customer service.

• Reporting on KPIs and transport performance.

Who are you?

• You have at least two years of experience in a (container) transport planning role and an MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking.

• You are precise, proactive, and able to switch smoothly between different tasks.

• You are strong in communication in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is a big plus.

• You take initiative, take responsibility, and actively seek solutions.
