Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and manage the workshop team, ensuring that team members understand and follow the company's logistics standards and processes. Responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and providing training and guidance as necessary to ensure the team operates efficiently.
• Lead by example and actively participate in logistics activities. Handle logistics tasks with team members and work with them to solve problems and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day logistics processes, including receiving, storing, sorting, packing and shipping of goods.
• Ensure that all logistics tasks are completed by set deadlines. Develop plans and schedules, monitor the progress of task execution, adjust resources in a timely manner to address any potential delays or issues.
• Be the point of contact for incoming and outgoing shipments within and outside the company. Maintain close contact with relevant parties such as customers and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery and smooth transportation of goods.
• Work with the team to ensure that quality standards are adhered to and enforced in the logistics process.

Qualifications

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably in a logistics field.
• Demonstrable experience in a management position within the logistics sector.
• Good communication skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and stress resistance.
• Knowledge of logistics processes and experience with warehouse management systems.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment and flexibly deployable.
• Operate material handling equipment (lift and reach truck certificate) is a plus.
